Thank you so much for your knowledge, support, and encouragement over the past few years. I came across your path quite by accident but know that there really are no accidents.

Probably the greatest gift you’ve given me was hope when no one else would. Both of us faced with stage 4 metastatic melanoma, no doctors want to give any hope. But after hearing your story, much like my own, I decided to not accept their confident outcome of me dying within a few months (which was 5 years ago). I began devouring all the recommended books and documentaries, looking at complimentary treatments to the standard of care (which only offered a chance for extending life by an few months if successful) lifestyle changes, and just said “No! I decide how this will go.” I immediately began advocating for myself in regards to mainstream treatment, and decided which I would choose and which my body rejected. Just this past October I had a recurrence much worse than any before. I was told (with my son and best friend by my side) that I should go home and make hospice arrangements. I said “NO!” I insisted on a treatment that my doctor was not supportive of, got back on my self-care path, and back to addressing the root cause. Within 3 weeks, my tumors were not felt by me, the excruciating pain had subsided. By my next scan (at 2 months out) it showed a complete response. No evidence of active disease. The bones that looked like Swiss cheese had “spontaneously healed” (radiologist words, not mine). The largest tumors in my thigh were completely undetectable. I was beginning to feel like me again.

I so appreciate your website that has an easy and accessible format to go through the learning modules at my pace and to suit my needs. I began the process of identifying my root cause of dis-ease, eliminating as much stress as I was able to, adding mindful meditation, increasing my physical activity, and making really just slight changes in diet- as I really had few unhealthy eating habits. I especially appreciate your live forums. I need to take advantage of those more often. You’ve created such a wonderful, sharing community.
